1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services of Shiv Shubh Tours and Travels (referred to as "Company", "we", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from booking any taxi or transport service through our website or offline. These terms apply to all Dehradun local & outstation trips.
2. Booking & Payments
- Reservation: Advance booking is recommended. Same-day bookings subject to vehicle availability.
- Fares: All fares include driver allowance, fuel cost (up to 300km/day for outstation), and taxes. Toll tax, state tax, parking, and night charges (if applicable) are extra unless mentioned.
- Payment methods: Cash, UPI, credit/debit cards, or online transfer. A 50% advance may be required for outstation trips to confirm booking.
- GST: 5% GST applicable on all base fares (as per government norms).
- Waiting charges: After 15 minutes of free waiting, ₹100/hour applies for local; outstation waiting beyond scheduled time is chargeable.
3. Use of Vehicles
You agree to use our taxis in a responsible manner. Smoking, drinking alcohol, and carrying illegal substances are strictly prohibited inside the vehicle. Any damage caused by the passenger will be recovered at actual cost.
Luggage allowance: up to 2 suitcases + hand baggage per sedan; SUV allows more. Please inform excess luggage at booking.
4. Passenger Responsibilities
- Provide accurate pick-up/drop location and time. Re-routing may incur extra charges.
- Ensure children below 12 are accompanied by an adult; child seats not provided.
- Follow safety instructions; wear seat belts. Company not liable for loss of personal belongings.
5. Liability Limitation
Shiv Shubh Tours and Travels shall not be liable for indirect damages, delays due to weather, road conditions, vehicle breakdowns, or any force majeure events. Our maximum liability is limited to the fare amount paid for that specific trip.
Cancellation windows & charges
We understand plans change. Below is the sliding scale of refunds based on when you cancel your booking with Shiv Shubh Tours and Travels. All cancellations must be communicated via phone or email (support@shivshubhtaxi.in) and confirmed by us.
Local / Hourly Rentals
- > 12 hours before: 90% refund (10% deduction as processing fee).
- 6 to 12 hours before: 50% refund.
- < 6 hours before: No refund / full charge.
- No-show: 100% charge, no refund.
Outstation / Round trips
- > 7 days before: 95% refund (5% admin fee).
- 3-7 days before: 75% refund.
- 24 hours – 3 days: 50% refund.
- 24 hours / No show: No refund.
2. Trip modifications
If you wish to change the date or time, we'll try to accommodate subject to availability. Date change requests made less than 24 hours prior may be treated as cancellation and rebooking. Additional fare difference (if any) applicable.
3. Refund process
- Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.
- For cash payments, refunds will be via bank transfer/UPI (account details required).
- Partial refunds (tolls, driver allowances already incurred) may be deducted.
- If paid by card, refund timeline depends on the bank.
4. Exceptional cases
In case of vehicle breakdown or cancellation from our side (e.g., medical emergency of driver), we provide full refund or alternate vehicle at no extra cost. No compensation beyond the paid fare.
Force majeure (natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions) — cancellations are fully refundable minus any non-recoverable costs incurred (like permit fees).
By completing a booking with Shiv Shubh Tours and Travels, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to both our Terms & Conditions and Cancellation Policy.
